Hi! I'm 34, married and the mom to a beautiful little girl. I'm also 131 lbs. overweight. I'm doing the 'Somersize' program right now in attempt to shed some of the pounds and get healthier. To me, my weight is second to my health. I want to live a long, long time
to see my daughter grow up and have kids of her own. I love the low-carb way of life, after discovering I had a carb addiction it was easy to see why the weight stayed on through all the other programs. I did CALP early last year and had great success, but eating a salad every day with dinner was just way too much for me...so I quit and went back to eating carbs any time of the day or night. I know that it was the worst
mistake of my life, I gained back all I had lost, plus a few extra like all yo-yo dieters do. I checked out the Suzanne Somers book from the library and thought "I could do this"..and you know what? I am!! I WILL make goal weight this time...I can just feel it!
Here's to all of us making it through this journey with as few bumps as possible!
